Bin Laden and the Pope

I was hoping to go to bed, checking the news one last time, and I found this on Drudge:Now, when you read the full article, we see that Drudge is grabbing attention. The main target of Bin Laden's message is the now infamous Dutch cartoons of several years ago. Regarding the Pope: "bin Laden said the drawings, considered offensive by Muslims, were part of a "new crusade" in which Pope Benedict was involved."

Still, maybe something to keep in mind as we approach the Triduum, especially the prayers for the Universal Church on Good Friday.
